Lots of changes...

WOW!  So much has happened since October!  Of course, there was the holiday season to celebrate, but our family also made a big move....from San Antonio to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  I'll give a quick recap of the past few months!

Here is Emma's last Open Curtain at the Performing Arts School of Classical Ballet. We are still searching for a new ballet school.
We celebrated Halloween by Trick-or-Treating with friends.  Olivia was an owl this year.  Mary Grace and Emma were Prom Queens, and Bailey was Flashback, a superhero he created for a film class last year.
Just before Thanksgiving, Dwayne got a call asking him to consider a position in Mississippi.  It was a completely unexpected offer, and one we put to the test before Dwayne agreed to an interview.  We spent the next couple of weeks really praying and analyzing whether a move would be feasible for us.

Olivia celebrated her 8th Birthday on Thanksgiving.  We worked with two families (friends) at the Ronald McDonald House for Thanksgiving.  That is always such a huge blessing for us.
Olivia's friend, Sabrina, has a birthday just two days later, so the girls celebrated with each other.

Emma's choir, Encore Youth Chorus, performed their Christmas concert.  They did an incredible job!

During this time, Dwayne flew to Mississippi to interview for the new position.  He called early into the interview process to let us know that he really wanted the job.  The process of relocating officially began.

Santa came to visit on Christmas Eve!
Olivia was pleased with her Lalaloopsy doll.

Emma, Mary Grace, and Bailey were happy with their gifts.

Christmas night with our friends, the Batohie's:

The day after Christmas brought the final rush of packing to move and saying good-bye to friends we came to love dearly during our time in San Antonio.  Four years ago, we drove into San Antonio knowing nothing about the city.  On January 5, we left the city that had become our home and later that evening, drove into the city that will become our new home.  Though it doesn't feel like home to us just yet, we know that God brought us here and has incredible things in store for us.

We're excited about being much closer to our friends and family in Tennessee.  We are very excited about living just miles from the beach.  You Texas friends will have to visit soon!
