Though we have not yet started our 2011-2012 school year, activities are beginning to resume. The end of summer is near, though the 100+ temps make that hard to believe!
This year Emma is adding a new adventure- Encore Youth Chorus. The choir is for students in fifth though twelfth grades and focuses not only on singing but music education. Here she is on the first day of Chorus:
Emma loved the first rehearsal and talked non-stop about it afterwards. I think it's going to be a great thing for her!
Swim practices resumed this week, too. Mary Grace and Olivia moved teams (again) to be much closer to home. So far, it seems like a good fit for both girls.
All other activities as well as our school work will begin next week. The girls will be traveling the world with My Father's World's Exploring Countries and Cultures. It's going to be exciting!
