First Days of School

Our school year started yesterday. Here are the annual First Day of School pictures:

The girls are using My Father's World: Exploring Countries and Cultures this year, and we are really excited about it. It seems to fit our style yet has all the lesson plans included.

Here is a glimpse of one of our first projects. Using an orange (with no-so-good drawings of the continents on it) to show the difference between maps and globes.

Mary Grace and Olivia worked together to put together this globe puzzle.

We have our passports ready and are ready to travel the world soon!

Bailey is studying Literature (through a homeschool book club), Spanish (co-op class), Algebra 2, US History, Geography, Forensic Science, and Driver's Ed. He will continue learning play his acoustic and bass guitars.
